Beginner Yoga-A beginners class that focuses on teaching basic yoga postures, healthy alignment of the spine, as well as strengthening the musculature that supports your body.  If you have been wanting to begin a yoga practice to reap all of the health benefits that yoga has to offer….now is the time!

Body Mobility-This 6-week session is a great way to keep your back safe and strong. While regular exercise is important for overall health, stretching is often overlooked.  For people with back pain, stretching exercises are especially important because they can help reduce back pain and may even help prevent future episodes of pain or injury.

Iowa City Yoga-These yoga classes are affordable and a great way to get to know the wonderful community in Iowa City. Classes are held under the amazing sky and on the green grass at College Green Park near the Farmers Market on most Saturdays at 11:00AM (check the schedule).

UIOWA YOGA-If you are a student, staff, faculty, or volunteer at the University of Iowa, you are welcome to join this class.  It is offered at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics held on alternating Monday’s from 5:15-6:00pm in the Activity Gym, 1701 JPP.  If you spend most of your day sitting, you must try this class!

Yoga Body Bootcamp-This special class is only offered 4 times this summer so be sure to mark your calendars!  Kick up your fitness and build core strength in this fun class with sweat, music and great camaraderie!  Take your workout and your mat outside this summer!

Advancing Inversions-In this class students who have a well-developed practice will be given the opportunity to advance their understanding and experience of inversions and complex movement. Expect to be asked to go out of your comfort zone, to work hard yet also to enjoy the freedom of flight and fluidity. In order to create a collaborative and honest environment for our practice, students are asked to be competent in crow pose, head stand and side plank and be willing to work towards forearm stand, handstand, firefly, jump throughs and other feats of balance, strength and coordination.

Classes will start again June 2018!!
